In the Music Real E85, Nichola Burton speaks with Scott Hutchinson, Chairman of Multi Award winning Hutchinson Builders. At the 14th annual Lord Mayor of Brisbane’s Business Awards last October, Scott was awarded a special Lifetime Achievement Award for keeping Brisbane’s music scene thriving thanks to his advocacy and investment in The Triffid and The Fortitude Music Hall. It would have been impossible for me to talk about the Music Industry at this time in history without acknowledging a man whose legacy has changed the face of the Brisbane Music Industry. As a board member and patron for Q Music, Scott is above all else, a music fan, and it was great to hear his thoughts on what’s great about live music in Brisbane.
