In The Music Real E38, our special guest today is Simone Ubaldi, booker for The Croxton in Thornbury and the co-director of the Save Our Scene campaign.

Melbourne boasts more live music venues per capita than any other city in the world. Pushworth is based in Brisbane, however we work with many independent operators – bookers and venues in Victoria for our National Tours. Here we are, its 2020 and the ability for people in the Events, Hospitality and Music industries to run their businesses and earn a living has been severely hampered by the COVID-19 shutdown and ensuing restrictions. It takes a village to grow this industry. When I say village – venue bookers, promoters, production companies, ticketing companies, musicians, agents, artist managers, hospitality and bar staff, security, technicians and a range of suppliers and contractors whose livelihoods depend on producing that event. And these are the people that can no longer earn an income. In The Music Real E38, our special guest today is Simone Ubaldi, booker for The Croxton in Thornbury and the co-director of the Save Our Scene campaign.
