In the Music Real E66, we chat with Sean Sennett, a music journalist and singer/songwriter from Brisbane. Collaborating with an array of well known Artists around Australia, Sean has been a prolific releaser of music projects with the latest being The Dangerous Age a collaborative studio album by Australian recording artists Kate Ceberano, + Steve Kilbey , released on 31 January 2020. We met Sean as the publisher/owner/managing editor of Time Off. Writing for music magazines and newspapers such as Rolling Stone, The Word, the Australian and the Age, Sean made music accessible to a broad range of audiences and was a vital marketing conduit for Artists worldwide. Sean’s latest project is a podcast where he talks to Guests around the world in long form conversations where people have the time to talk. When we think music in Australian, we think Sean Sennett so it was great to hear how he was going in lockdown plus his thoughts on how the industry will adapt and innovate as a result.
